Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced cardiac care for PCU/IMCU patients, including those with STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-cardiac surgery
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms to detect changes in patient condition
• Administer cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors with precision
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and recovery
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with unit protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a similar sized acute care facility
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac drip administration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for cardiac patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Competency in using electronic health records
