Location: Renton, Washington

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement patient care plans under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
- Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups
- Read and follow instructions from the Physical Therapist
- Collaborate directly with the PT to modify care as needed
- Communicate with families to recommend at-home techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the physical therapy area
- Assist patients with transfers from mobility devices
- Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling and filing
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Experience in Long Term Care or Rehab settings
- Active PTA license
- Washington state PTA license or eligibility to obtain
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in implementing therapeutic exercises
- Strong communication skills with patients and families
- Ability to collaborate with physical therapists
- Knowledge of patient transfer techniques
- Organizational skills for administrative tasks
