Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours guaranteed; rotating weekends and on-call including Sundays with a max 30-minute commute

Hours per Week: 50

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies, and electrophysiology studies
Serve as a lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff
Collaborate with the intra-procedure team to ensure safe patient care
Participate in Universal Protocol and site marking identification
Assist with patient identification, preparation, and draping, and room setup for procedures
Read physicians' orders and select appropriate equipment according to protocols
Maintain and calibrate equipment, troubleshooting and reporting issues
Identify opportunities to improve work processes and enhance customer satisfaction
Stay current with advancements in cardiovascular technology through continuing education

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases
ARRT or RCIS certification required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Active State of Texas Medical Radiologic License
Experience in critical care (ICU, ED) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred
Previous travel experience highly preferred
