Registered Nurse - Neuro Stepdown
Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to neuro stepdown patients, monitoring neurological status and managing complex needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge planning
- Document accurately in EPIC and maintain thorough patient records
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of neuro stepdown or strong med/surg stepdown experience required
- Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
- NIHSS certification required - must be listed on CV
- ACLS certification required
- EPIC proficiency required

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
