Radiation Therapist
Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Start Date: 08-03-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, weekends and holidays as needed

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer radiation treatments and simulations with precision and care
- Perform dosimetry functions and fabricate blocks to prepare for treatment
- Manage daily treatment schedules and operate clinical equipment safely
- Collaborate with nursing, physician, and reception teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Update procedure manuals and attend mandatory education sessions
- Provide independent judgment in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Radiation Therapy experience required
- Active ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- Massachusetts radiology license (must be uploaded with profile)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required
- Must have own vehicle for assignment
- Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in radiation therapy equipment and safety protocols
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of simulation and dosimetry procedures
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and scheduling systems
