Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Start Date: 07-27-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend, no on-call
Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patient physical and psychosocial status using age-specific data
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for optimal outcomes
- Perform ongoing assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to promote recovery
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required
- Active Illinois RN license (or compact state) required
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required
- Willingness to travel and live outside a 50-mile radius from facility
Knowledge & Skills
- ICU nursing skills
- Assessment and critical thinking
- Patient care and documentation
- ACLS and BLS certified
- Multidisciplinary care coordination
