MRI Technologist
Location: Port Huron, Michigan
Start Date: 07-27-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Saturday-Sunday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) - 16 hour guaranteed
Hours per Week: 16

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate advanced MRI scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Screen patients for safety and comfort before every procedure
- Administer contrast agents as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging
- Maintain a calm and reassuring environment for patients
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Tech experience - required
- ARRT certification in MRI - required and must be documented
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in MRI safety protocols and contrast administration
- Strong patient communication and bedside manner
- Proficiency with PACS and EHR systems
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology recognition
