Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe patient care during night shifts, monitoring condition changes and intervening appropriately
• Administer medications, treatments and document care accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform thorough assessments, prioritize tasks and escalate concerns to providers as needed
• Support patient and family education with clear, respectful communication
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control procedures and documentation standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; LPN candidates may be considered depending on facility needs
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS or other certifications encouraged when applicable
• Relevant recent clinical experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
• Ability to pass background checks, health screenings and facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication, critical thinking and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN or diploma program for RNs; PN program for LPNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with medication administration, wound care and basic nursing assessments
• Good clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced night environment
• Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with nursing colleagues
• Strong patient-centered approach and excellent interpersonal skills
