Location: San Luis Obispo, California

Shift Type: Variable 8-hour shifts; includes call (1 night/week + 1 weekend/month)

Candidate Pay Rate: $61.1 - $45.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage patient care throughout the surgical process
Prepare the operating room environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Assist the surgical team by anticipating needs and maintaining sterile field
Advocate for patient safety and comfort during surgery
Document patient care accurately using Cerner Surginet

Qualifications

Current RN license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
Travel experience preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner charting system
Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical asepsis
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with high-volume ortho, general, gyn, and eye surgeries
