Roles & Responsibilities

• Direct the operation of the hospital during evening, night, and weekend hours, ensuring smooth clinical and administrative functions
• Oversee inpatient units as well as ancillary and support departments operating during your shift
• Serve as a clinical role model, making prompt, quality decisions in critical care and emergency situations
• Support and guide staff through changes with excellent interpersonal skills and fairness
• Calmly manage multiple intense activities or problems simultaneously
• Apply hospital policies and contractual requirements consistently and fairly

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful leadership experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience in successful conflict resolution
• Demonstrated working knowledge of daily operations of an acute care medical center, including emergency, trauma, and critical care
• Active Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Perm address must be included in profile

Education

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or higher required

Knowledge & Skills

• Leadership and conflict resolution
• Acute care operations, including critical care and trauma
• Staffing systems knowledge preferred
• Strong clinical expertise and decision-making
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
