Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday, Friday, Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift, 30-min meal break)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety and comfort
Engage residents in activities that promote physical and emotional well-being
Maintain a clean and organized environment to support infection control
Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver personalized care plans

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or have approved exemption documentation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
Patience and empathy when caring for residents
Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
Ability to lift and move residents safely
