Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients
Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Support patients emotional and social needs with kindness and respect

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or hospital
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic understanding of medical terminology and vital signs
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Time management and organizational skills
