Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour days, with one Saturday per month

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' functional abilities through formal and informal testing
Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessments
Coordinate treatment plans with physicians and update as needed
Create frequency and duration-specific treatment schedules in collaboration with patients and families
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions and treatment options
Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants and aides to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Active Michigan Occupational Therapist License
American Heart Association BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of OT experience
Pediatric experience required
Skills checklist current within 1 year
Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years
Permanent address outside 50-mile radius from Alpena

Outpatient and acute care experience
Pediatric occupational therapy
