Location: Albuquerque, NM

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call and weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing unit operations and ensure high-quality patient care
Coordinate and supervise nursing staff, including scheduling and performance management
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards
Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing team members
Manage unit budgets and resources effectively

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted RN license in New Mexico
BLS certification required
Previous management or charge nurse experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical nursing knowledge and best practices
Leadership and team management
Problem-solving and decision-making
Effective communication and collaboration
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
