Location: Lansing, Michigan

Start Date: 07-20-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; rotating weekends (every 5th or 6th weekend)

Hours per Week: 40

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of nuclear medicine patient exams to produce high quality diagnostic images
Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address concerns to ensure comfort and confidence
Operate and maintain nuclear scanning imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning
Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes and medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure
Maintain documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats
Ensure adequate supply of consumables for quality testing
Perform routine maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment

Qualifications

Registered in Nuclear Medicine with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
A skills checklist completed within one year of application is preferred
Michigan license verification is required for nurses (not applicable for this role, but relevant for some applicants)
