Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (includes 30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to elderly residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
Ensure resident comfort and safety, including mobility assistance and fall prevention
Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for residents
Support emotional and social well-being through companionship and engagement

Qualifications

Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
CPR certification required
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying patient needs
Compassionate and patient demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of elderly care and safety protocols
