Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend rotation, no on-call shifts

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's plan of care
Administer medications, treatments, and assist with patient transfers and call lights
Evaluate treatment plan effectiveness and collaborate with the care team to update plans
Process physician orders accurately and in a timely manner
Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications to ensure safe care

Qualifications

At least 2 years of Observation experience (required)
Active Michigan RN license (required)
American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
Epic EMR experience (preferred)
Willingness to travel; facility will not consider local candidates within 50 miles

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and skilled nursing
Medication administration and treatment plan evaluation
Physician order processing
Observation and ambulatory care experience
Epic EMR proficiency
Strong communication and collaboration skills
