Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform routine CT exams for emergency department and inpatient populations, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA studies
Operate GE CT equipment independently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
Provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Level I trauma center environment
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging protocols and patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech system

Qualifications

At least 1 year of CT experience in a Level I trauma setting required
ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification strongly preferred
Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in performing routine and trauma CT exams
Skilled in operating GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice CT scanners
Knowledge of anatomy and imaging protocols for head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, team-oriented environment
