Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts (schedule varies)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently admit and manage ventilated patients in the NICU and PICU using Servo-U ventilators
Set up and manage heliox therapy via invasive and non-invasive methods
Operate non-invasive ventilation including BiPAP and CPAP
Provide bubble CPAP, nitric oxide therapy, and high-frequency ventilation for neonatal patients
Document patient care accurately in Epic electronic health records
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional critical care

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent experience in Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care
Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
Active Georgia state license or compact privilege (NLC)
Current PALS certification required
Strong skills in ventilator management and neonatal respiratory support

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Servo-U and Drager VN500 ventilators
Expertise in heliox therapy, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation
Experience with bubble CPAP, BiPAP, and CPAP
Familiarity with Epic documentation system
Critical thinking and problem-solving in fast-paced environments
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
