Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 07-07-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, flexible shifts including 12-hour night shifts (3:00 PM - 7:00 AM) as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient progress and communicate changes to healthcare team
Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
Knowledge of nursing standards and regulations
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Patient advocacy and empathetic bedside manner
