Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on professional physical therapy practice
• Implement specific treatment programs to restore function, reduce pain, and improve mobility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
• Current Kansas Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure highly preferred
• Hospital experience preferred
• CPR certification (BLS or CPR for Professional Rescuer) required within 90 days of employment

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (required)
• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical evaluation and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital setting
• Proficiency in electronic medical records
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
