Location: Franklin, NH

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Shift 1) with 30-minute meal break; may include occasional weekend coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care
Supervise and support nursing staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth
Coordinate patient care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for unit nurses
Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state
Experience as a Unit Manager or in a nursing leadership role
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, patients, and families
Current BLS certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in long-term care and rehabilitation nursing
Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing skilled nursing facilities
Leadership and conflict resolution abilities
Proficiency in electronic health records and care planning
Excellent communication and organizational skills
