Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in our Birthing Center/Mother Baby unit
• Attend deliveries independently and assist with cesarean sections as a circulator
• Support baby catching and transition after birth, ensuring a safe start
• Manage and titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
• Collaborate with a 24/7 in-house OBGYN/hospitalist, NNP, and anesthesia team for optimal patient outcomes
• Function seamlessly in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum settings, providing routine mom and baby care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) preferred
• Experience attending deliveries independently and circulating in c-sections
• Comfortable assisting with baby catching and transitioning

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in LDRP nursing, including delivery attendance and c-section assistance
• Skilled in titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips
• Competent in EFM using Centricity-perinatal system
• Strong ability to adapt to unit workflows, policies, and feedback
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
