Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour AM/PM shifts, including every other weekend and holidays per ONA contract

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby patients
Circulate and/or scrub in the OR for cesarean sections
Titrate and manage drips such as Pitocin, Fentanyl, and Labetalol
Monitor fetal heart tracings using GE Centricity EFM system
Respond to obstetrical emergencies including hypertension and hemorrhage
Collaborate with OB techs and neonatologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license (or pending) required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in OR for cesarean sections
Ability to titrate drips like Pitocin, Fentanyl, and Labetalol
Strong clinical skills in managing obstetrical emergencies

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines and obstetrical best practices
Proficiency in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Skills in managing hypertensive disorders, hemorrhage, and other high-risk conditions
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic unit environment
