Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; every third weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients
Circulate in the OR during C-sections
Assess and care for normal newborns and routine baby care
Float to postpartum unit as needed, caring for both mother and infant
Titrate drips including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
Ability to circulate in OR
Driver's license required at submittal
Must meet 50-mile radius rule from facility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong L&D nursing skills including fetal monitoring and high-risk OB care
Proficient in normal newborn assessments and baby care
Ability to titrate drips (Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate)
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to float and adapt to unit needs
