Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Independently perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement
Manage high-risk laboring, delivery, and antepartum patients
Circulate and recover C-section patients
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum unit as needed to support team
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications from AHA
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience preferred
Must be independent and confident with high-risk obstetrics
Ability to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and EFM interpretation (Cerner)
Skilled in high-risk laboring, delivery, and antepartum care
Experience with titratable drips (Magnesium, Pitocin, Insulin, Heparin)
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
