Shift Type: Rotating 8 and 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; on-call 1-2 weeknights and every third weekend

Roles & Responsibilities

• Take charge of conscious sedation for interventional radiology procedures, managing patient safety and comfort with autonomy
• Circulate and assist during a variety of IR cases including stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, line placements, biopsies, and chest tube insertions
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care for both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of intensivists, interventionalists, and techs in a fast-paced, supportive environment
• Document accurately using EPIC and operate Philips Xper and Siemens C-Arm equipment
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage for emergent IR needs

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent Interventional Radiology or critical care experience preferred
• Moderate sedation experience is a must
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
• Comfortable working with EPIC, Philips Xper, and Siemens C-Arm systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in conscious sedation and patient monitoring
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in EPIC charting and IR imaging equipment
• Ability to manage a variety of IR procedures with precision and care
• Adaptability to rotating schedules and on-call duties
