Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day/night shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 4 shifts per week, including every other weekend and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients in ICU and PCU settings
Monitor and titrate drips including Levophed, amiodarone, heparin, and more
Collaborate with intensivists and hospitalists to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Float between ICU and PCU units as needed
Maintain patient safety and quality of care in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of critical care experience
Ability to titrate drips and manage complex cardiac and respiratory patients
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing
Titration of vasoactive medications
Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Ventilator management
Patient assessment and rapid response
