Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), every other weekend, 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive critical care to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis patients
Titrate cardiac drips, manage ventilators, and monitor telemetry with strip interpretation
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
Perform thorough assessments and respond quickly to changing patient conditions
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals

Qualifications

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Driver's license required for verification of residency
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
Ability to pass an open-book orientation exam with 90% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating cardiac and sedation drips
Skilled in ventilator management and high-flow oxygen therapy
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
