Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to medical ICU patients including those with sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, and MI
Titrate vasopressors and sedation drips like levo, neo, cardene, precedex, and propofol
Manage ventilators, bipaps, and high-flow oxygen with RT support
Monitor cardiac rhythms and verify telemetry readings
Float to PCU when ICU census is low
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
Must pass an open-book exam during orientation with a 90% or higher
Driver's license required for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ventilator management and bipap therapy
Proficiency with titratable drips: vasopressors and sedation
Strong assessment skills for critically ill patients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
