End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts; schedule determined by unit needs; every other weekend and holiday required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care across multiple facilities within Zone 4
Perform triage, point-of-care lab testing, and interpret telemetry strips
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and techs to deliver high-quality patient care
Float between Bob Wilson Memorial, St. Catherine-Dodge City, and St. Catherine-Garden City as assigned
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1-2 years of recent Emergency Room experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to different facility environments
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in fast-paced settings

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in emergency nursing procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care
Knowledge of common ER diagnoses such as abdominal pain, stroke, trauma, and cardiac conditions
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips and EKGs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with floating and working independently
