Location: College Station, TX

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, day/night starting at 6:45 AM/PM, mid-shifts available at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM; every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and pediatric cases
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage drips, and respond to codes
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in triage and care for patients in a fast-paced 18-bed ER with 4 critical rooms
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
First-time travelers welcome
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia test (83%) before contract start
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
