Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department and MedSurg Swing unit
Titrate and manage intravenous drips and medications as ordered
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac strips to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
Float to ED holds as needed to support patient flow and team efforts

Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota (compact license accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience preferred
Ability to titrate drips and read tele strips confidently
Flexibility to work rotating shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of acute care nursing principles
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Ability to manage diverse patient types from ED to swing bed
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
