Shift Type: Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation, varied shifts

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate primary nursing care to patients in a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure patient safety
- Perform fingerstick blood sugar checks and respond promptly to patient needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER units as needed
- Utilize Meditech charting and Pyxis medication systems to provide accurate, efficient care
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii nursing license by start of assignment
- At least 1 year of recent hospital acute care experience
- Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
- PALS and NIHSS certifications preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip reading
- Primary nursing care in step-down ICU settings
- BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitoring
- Floating comfortably to multiple acute care units
