Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert critical care to burn and ICU patients in a 12-bed unit
Manage ventilators, specialty beds, and CRRT for complex cases
Maintain 2:1 ratios for ICU patients and 4:1 for med/surg/PCU
Collaborate with charge RNs, RNs, and PCTs in a dynamic team environment
Champion patient experience through med/surg expertise
Document precisely using Meditech while floating as needed to support the hospital

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2+ years of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Med/surg experience to excel in patient care
Comfortable in high-acuity settings like Burn ICU and PCU

Education

RN licensure from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with ventilators, CRRT, and specialty beds
Experienced in Meditech documentation
Skilled in managing ICU 2:1 and med/surg/PCU 4:1 ratios
Team player ready to float first and make an impact
