Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at Larkin Chase Ctr
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond effectively to emergent situations and escalate as needed
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and complete required documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or multistate/compact license (willing to obtain if needed)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred
• Current clinical skills in medication administration, IV therapy, and patient assessment
• Professional, dependable, and ready to join a collaborative care team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and IV management
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
• Team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
