Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, potential weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients across telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and medical ICU units
Assess patient nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on dietary management and wellness
Monitor and document patient progress using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Minimum one year experience as a Registered Dietitian
Working experience in an acute care hospital highly preferred
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
Proficiency with Cerner EMR system

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in clinical nutrition for low to moderate acuity patients
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple floors
Knowledge of evidence-based dietary practices
