Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living to promote comfort and dignity
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes
Support nursing staff with patient care tasks and timely documentation
Perform basic clinical duties such as specimen collection and specimen handling
Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control guidelines
Provide compassionate patient interaction and family support

Qualifications

PCT certification or completion of an accredited PCT program (preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Previous clinical or patient care experience is a plus (preferred)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Patient Care Technician program or relevant clinical training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and patient hygiene procedures
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Comfort with electronic charting or willingness to learn
