Location: Santa Maria, California

Start Date: 06-18-2026

End Date: 09-17-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with flexibility; weekend rotation every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide home-based occupational therapy services to patients in assigned geographical region
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
Document patient progress using OASIS and Cerner EMR
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home modifications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT, SLP, and nursing staff

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapist license
BLS certification (required upon start)
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
Experience with OASIS documentation (required)
Home health experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment
Home health and community-based care
OASIS documentation and compliance
Cerner EMR proficiency
Strong communication and patient education skills
