Location: Santa Maria, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with every 3rd weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized occupational therapy services in patients' homes across your assigned region
- Help patients regain independence with daily living activities after strokes, joint replacements, and spinal injuries
- Complete OASIS documentation to ensure compliance with government requirements
- Collaborate with PTs, Speech Therapists, and rehab aides to create comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home modifications
- Provide compassionate care that truly impacts quality of life
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California
- At least 1 year of professional experience as an OT
- BLS certification required
- Experience with OASIS documentation required
- Home health experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and time-management skills

- OASIS documentation expertise
- Home-based care best practices
- Orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation techniques
- Patient education and family training
- Cerner EMR proficiency
- Ability to work independently in home settings
