Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU
Location: Garden City, Kansas
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Self-scheduling with elective cases Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, plus 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and purpose
- Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers nursing staff
- Enhance clinical competencies and mentor team members
- Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and bedside procedural support
- Manage staffing ratios and ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Float as a helping hand to support other departments when needed
- Monitor and respond to critical drips and complex patient conditions
Qualifications
- Active RN license with ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in management
- 1 year of clinical leadership experience required
- Fluoro license preferred for technical staff support
- Critical care and telemetry experience strongly valued
- Willingness to consider candidates who meet the majority of requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong leadership in building positive team culture
- Expertise in vasoactive medications and critical care drips
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips confidently
- Comfort managing vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Skilled in pre/post procedure care and moderate sedation
- Flexible and collaborative approach to floating across units
