Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform complex clinical laboratory testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology with care and accuracy
• Maintain and document strict quality control measures to ensure reliable patient results
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
• Follow and reinforce laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Accurately enter and review test results, and communicate critical findings to clinical staff in a timely manner
• Support laboratory workflow by multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Current, active Nevada State General Supervisor license required
• Demonstrated proficiency in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology testing
• Proven ability to maintain quality control and laboratory safety standards
• Comfortable multitasking and working under time-sensitive conditions
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills for team collaboration

Education

• Not specified in posting. Typically an A.S. or B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or equivalent is expected

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of clinical lab disciplines: Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology
• Quality control processes and laboratory safety practices
• Instrument operation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and accurate result documentation
• Operational excellence and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
