Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures from setup through scanning and processing with care and precision
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed, following safety protocols
• Operate and maintain MRI and auxiliary equipment, including Toshiba Vantage Titan 1.5T
• Communicate clearly with radiologists, physicians, patients and families to ensure excellent care
• Perform quality control, image post-processing and report findings to support diagnoses
• Maintain day-to-day schedules and assist radiologists during exams
• Adhere to ACR imaging and MR safety guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and ARRT MR required
• Washington state license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum: 1 year MRI experience (first-timers accepted)
• Pending licenses are NOT accepted; applicants must have active credentials
• Local residents within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel contract — please check eligibility before applying
• Comfortable working in adult/geriatric care settings, including ER/trauma and outpatient

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong MRI fundamentals: MR safety, protocol selection and image optimization
• Contrast administration and peripheral IV insertion
• Experience with PACS and EPIC charting systems
• Familiarity with GE, Philips, Siemens and Toshiba MRI platforms (Toshiba Vantage Titan 1.5T experience a plus)
• Image post-processing skills: MIP, MPR, ADC mapping, subtraction
• Proficiency with T1/T2 weighted imaging, spin echo and gradient echo techniques
• Musculoskeletal and spine imaging experience, including MRA procedures
