Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care that enhances residents' comfort and quality of life
- Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching, training, and guidance on best practices
- Deliver safe, professional care aligned with facility policies, state regulations, and nursing standards
- Coordinate individualized plans of care to support each resident's unique needs
- Uphold the Choices Philosophy of Care by treating every resident with dignity and respect
- Maintain a safe environment through vigilant safety practices and infection control
Qualifications
- Active Alaska LPN licensure required
- Current American Heart Association BLSP (CPR) certification
- At least 1 year of long-term care nursing experience preferred
- New graduates welcome with an 8-12 month preceptorship opportunity
Education
- Associate's degree in nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and clinical leadership skills
- Ability to coach and educate nursing support staff
