Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (exact start/end times and days to be determined)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care with dignity and respect
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
Monitor, assess and document vital signs and resident status accurately
Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and families
Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence
Maintain clear and accurate medical records and medication logs
Support infection prevention practices and participate in quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
Demonstrated clinical skills and comfort with medication administration
Strong communication and teamwork skills
CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Previous experience in long-term care or a similar setting is a plus

Education

LPN/LVN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation proficiency
Basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Compassionate resident care and ability to assist with ADLs
Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork
Clear, professional communication with residents, families, and staff
