Location: Clovis, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care following care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per policy
Observe and document resident condition, communicating changes to the care team
Support daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to optimize outcomes
Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe transfers as needed
Maintain accurate, timely charting in the facility’s documentation system

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license (New Mexico) required
Completion of an accredited LPN program
BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications a plus
Previous LPN experience in long-term care or rehab preferred
Current immunizations and TB test per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Education

Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Comfortable with wound care, bathing, transfers, and ADL support
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
Familiarity with electronic charting and documentation best practices
Good time management, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
Ability to follow care plans and facility policies consistently
