Location: Brooklyn Park, MD

Shift Type: Days vary (to be scheduled), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform timely and thorough patient assessments and documentation
Collaborate with the care team to develop and follow individualized care plans
Monitor patient condition and communicate changes promptly to the team
Support patient and family education with patience and clarity
Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maryland
BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications a plus
Comfortable working an evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous long-term care or acute care experience preferred but not required

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)
For RN candidates: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
Patient assessment and basic clinical skills (vital signs, wound care, ADLs)
Comfort with electronic medical records and timely charting
Good time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
Infection control practices and safety-conscious approach
Empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and professionalism
