Location: Andover, Massachusetts

Shift Type: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 12-hour day shift (days not specified)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing/rehab setting
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to plan of care
Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and response to interventions
Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Assist with ADLs, mobility, and restorative nursing activities to promote independence
Report changes in condition promptly and participate in care planning meetings
Maintain accurate, timely charting in the facility’s documentation system

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in Massachusetts (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a care team
Current immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with medication administration and wound care basics
Skilled at resident assessment, documentation, and care planning
Familiarity or willingness to learn electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Good clinical judgment, time management, and multitasking in a busy environment
Compassionate approach to resident-centered care and restorative nursing
