Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and observe for clinical changes
• Assist nursing team with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling
• Document care accurately and timely in the facility charting system
• Communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff and supervisors
• Support infection prevention practices and maintain a safe environment
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families, preserving dignity

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
• Travel LNA experience preferred and appreciated
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screen
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Comfortable working in long-term care or similar clinical settings

Education

• LNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care, bathing, grooming, and feeding assistance
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and observing clinical changes
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Familiarity with charting/documentation and basic clinical workflows
• Good time management, teamwork, and patient-centered care approach
