Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with feeding, mobility, hygiene, and safe transfers while promoting independence
• Chart accurately and maintain clear communication with interdisciplinary team members
• Follow facility policies and infection control practices to ensure a safe environment
• Support a positive, resident-centered atmosphere by engaging with patients and families

Qualifications

• Current LNA certification (T-LNA/LNA) appropriate for the assignment
• Licensed Nursing Assistant experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
• Must have reliable personal transportation; public transit in the area is limited
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain quickly
• Strong communication skills, dependability, and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of state-approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic nursing care, ADLs, and safe resident handling
• Knowledge of documentation best practices and reporting protocols
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Ability to follow care plans, infection control procedures, and safety guidelines
• Compassionate bedside manner and good time management under a busy schedule
